Primark haul Glastonbury festival bits

Hello,

I think this may be my 4th May Primark haul! Not a bad achievement considering I've been to Cornwall (land of no Primarks) yet I've still managed to go to Primark 4 times this month! I am still collating pieces to take to Glastonbury, and picked up a few items to take with me.

This long duster jacket is not intended for Glastonbury, but it was only £3!!! It was originally priced at £17, so I'm guessing they haven't had much success with selling them. I really don't know if I'll wear it but for £3 I thought it was worth picking up. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could wear it with?

Another pair of socks (reduced to £1) I bought these with the intention of wearing them with my Missguided burgandy shorts.

I bought a pair of Timerland style boots from Primark a while ago, and they are very compfy. So I decided to get this pair and if they are just as comfortable then they will be coming to Glastonbury with me. The only problem I had with my other ones is somehow loads of sand got in my boots when I was at the Tunes in the Dunes festival, so I hope these don't let any water in! They cost £15.

This back pack didn't catch my eye at first - I orginally saw a black one I liked. But I decided that if it is hot at Glastonbury then a black backpack is not a good idea. This one actually grew on me and I think it will look pretty cool with most outfits. It cost £8.

I picked up 2 more of these 'cropped' t-shirts. I am a size 10 but for some reason I have to get these in a size 16! That means that they aren't exactly cropped on me, but they also aren't very loose! They are the perfect length to wear with shorts or skirts in the summer. Primark always do a nice top each year that I always end up buying at least 5 of in different colours - this year it seems to be this one!

Missguided suede Glastonbury festival haul

Hello,

So as I may have mentioned before, I am going to Glastonbury this year! I haven't been since 2010, so I am currently stocking up on clothes to take with me. I placed an order on Missguided and for some reason everything I got was made of faux suede! Here are the things I chose with the links as well. Sorry for not taking any pictures of the items on, but I'm sure I will when I get round to wearing some of them at Glastonbury!

So I fell in love with these shorts when I first saw them, and I only got them in the post yesterday and have already worn them on a night out! The burgandy colour is one of my favs, but I normally only wear it in the winter. I'm not sure how I will pair them with my mint green wellies at Glastonbury, but they are a must have for me!

I love these shorts too! They are available with a matching top, but it's a crop top and people really don't want to see my bare midriff, even at Glastonbury! I can't decide whether to keep these or not, as do I really need 2 pairs of suede shorts in my life?! I do love the colour though, and if it is hot or sunny at Glastonbury then I can definitely see myself wearing these!

I love the style of this jacket, but unfortunately I will have to return it. I ordered a size 12 (I'm a size 10) as I wanted it to be slightly larger, but it's a little too big. Also the belt has a metal bit which rattles around a lot, so as much as I love this, I will have to send it back :(

Another pair of suede shorts! These look more flattering on than in the pictures. Another return though, as these are high waisted to the extreme - almost to the point where I can't bend over without them cutting in to me! I do love them though!

I haven't ordered from Missguided in a while but they have some lovely festival pieces for sale at the minute. I may end up placing another order before I go to Glastonbury!

Sports Direct / Adidas gym haul

Hello,

For about a year and a half I have been trying to go to the gym 3 times a week. Some weeks I only make it 2 times, and about once every few months I manage to go 4 times a week! I also do a zumba class at school each week. So I consider myself to do a lot of exercise! I always wear the same old clothes, so today I decided to treat myself to some new bits. at first I wanted to get some Nike trainers, but I saw these Adidas ones and really liked the contrast of the purple and lime green, so I picked these up. They were £39.99 from Sports Direct.

To go with my new trainers I got an Adidas vest top. I normally wear t-shirts to the gym but I thought I'd give this a go an was surprised by how flattering it was. I was worried it was a bit too transparent but when I put it on it was fine. It was only £12.99 as well.

Finally I bought some gym leggings by Adidas. I normally wear 3/4 length trousers but these looked flattering on, especially with the top above. These cost £22 from Sports Direct.

I will be wearing these items to the gym in the next week or so. I'm pleased with these items and hope I don't have to return any. I've had a lot of issues with Sports Direct in the past as they don't do refunds! I was going to buy another pair of Adidas trousers but didn't want to risk not being able to return them.

May half term fun in Cornwall

Hello!

So it's currently half term, and I normally spend every May half term writing reports. It's now Thursday evening and so far I haven't written a single one - eek! I swear I will start them tomorrow! The main reason is because as soon as school finished on Friday I drove down to Bath to see my brother. However, everyone else seemed to be travelling down South too, as it took me 5 hours to get there (normally less than 3). Still, when I got there, we went straight to our favourite restaurant in Bath, Turtle Bay, and had some yummy food and cocktails. We then went to a bar/club called The Nest where my brother's flatmates work, and we drank wine and danced until they closed, and we even stayed for a lock in afterwards! It was a great night, even if I did drink too much!

The next day I carried on my journey down to Cornwall and again the roads were packed - it took 6 hours! As soon as I got to my mum's place, I got changed and we went to the Tunes in the Dunes festival in Perranporth. It's a brand new festival and we only had Saturday tickets, but it was lovely. The stage was actually on the beach which was a strange experience but great. We went because Status Quo were head lining and they were amazing. This was only my 2nd time seeing them but my mum has seen them countless times. It was nice to go to a gig where I wasn't the only one dancing and jumping around - my mum was too!

I have loads of work to do over half term and stupidly, I left my laptop charger at home. So I went to buy a new laptop (as my one desperately needs replacing!) and the next day had to return it as it was faulty. So I had to cut my trip short so I could come back to do some work. I did manage to fit in a walk in Padstow which is shown in the pictures below. I also stopped in Bath again on the way back to see my Brother.

Half term is nearly over and I will probably spend the next 3 days working, but I had a lovely few days in the South west and now really miss it there!

Yummy fish and chips!

It's nice to mum so happy
