Superdry and Hollister haul June 2015

Hello,

So I wanted to get a high quality hoodie to take to Glastonbury with me. I originally ordered one from Hollister, but it was incredibly short in length so I'm going to take it back (I have already tried to return it once, but it wasn't on their system so I couldn't return it - they told me to bring it back in a week to try again! It's that or paying £9!!!!! to send it back by post! Sort it out Hollister!) So anyway, I finally found a hoodie I liked from Superdry. Now my boyfriend worked at Superdry for over 2 years, and towards the end he HATED it, so I was reluctant to shop there, but the hoodie I bought is exactly the colour and quality I was after. It was £49.99, and you can also buy it online

While looking in Hollister for a hoodie, I came across the following items and when I tried them on, I had a brainwave of putting them all together to make an outift for Glastonbury. It's an expensive outfit, I can only wear it if it's warm, and I'm likely to only wear it once - all of that aside, I love it! It has major festival vibes - when I showed my boyfriend he said I looked like I belong at Woodstock! Below are the items individually, and I will try to show you what they look like on together, but that might not happen until I'm at Glasto!

I can't wait to wear these things at Glastonbury!

Primark haul June 2015 - getting ready for Glastobury

Hello,

Boy I bought a lot of things from Primark today. Last night I started to panic about some of the things I need for Glastonbury, so I went to Bromley today to try and pick up a few more bits. Somehow I ended up buying loads in Primark, including bits not even intended for Glasto. So here's what I bought...

Well these are of course for Glastonbury! I own a pair of mint green wellies, but they aren't ideal for the outfits I have planned, so I spotted these for £12 and grabbed them! As they are black, they will pretty much go with any outfit. I just hope they are comfortable as you do an awful lot of walking at Glasto!

This is definitely not a Glasto bag - I picked this up for a night out. I always take clutch bags but thought this might be nice for when I go clubbing and want my bag on my shoulder instead. I think it was £6.

Some Glasto essentials! I'm not too keen on Primark toothbrushes (the last ones I had were so hard on my teeth) but these ones are soft, so hopefully they will feel nicer. They were only 75p for the pack - can't go wrong with that! I also got these face/body wipes for £1.

Another Primark haul, another pack of Primark rings. Will I seriously stop buying these things?!?!

A staple in my wardrobe - I always seem to loose socks, but these are the style I wear to the gym so I picked up a pack today.

So this was £4, and I'm planning on wearing it with the purple Adidas top I bought a couple of weeks ago. The main reason being, when I wore it to the gym, I was conscious that my boobs were a little bit on show when I was doing weights. So I thought this would be good to cover me up a little bit more!

These gypsy tops are everywhere at the moment! I like the length of these as they are short enough to go perfectly with high waisted skirts or shorts. I bought one in black and white today, and they were £4 each!

I saw these yellow jeans in the entrance and loved them straight away. I already have some jeans in this style so know they are a flattering fit on me. I'm planning on wearing them with white! They were £13 (I think!)

I have 2 of these sleeveless jackets already, but couldn't resist getting a white/cream coloured one for the summer. This one differs slightly to my others as it has a tie around the waist. It was £15.

What a bargain of a dress! This smock dress was only £5 - the stripes are white and navy. True, I do feel like I'm trying to hide a pregnancy when I'm wearing it, but it's perfect for any 'fat' days -  can just throw it on with some sandals and I'm done!

Now the next 3 pictures for some reason just won't rotate!!! I have tried for a while to get them the right way round but my computer isn't having it! I was just going to leave them out, but meh, I'll include them and just have to put up with them being the wrong way round!

This pretty make up bag is coming with my to Glasto - I'm going to put a select few bits of make up in there - I don't want to take too much with me.

Yes - I have bought a bum bag for Glastonbury! I honestly never thought I would own one of these! It was £6, and I plan on wearing it in the evenings when I don't want a bag on my shoulder when I'm dancing!

Another gypsy style top - £4.

I'm not sure if I'm keeping this or not - I love it but it crinkles very easily - and I'm not one for ironing! I do love stripes though! It was also a little more expensive than I was expecting - it was £10.

So I did buy a lot today but it's got me more excited for Glastonbury in a few weeks!!

Jo Malone fragrance

Hello,

Today I thought I'd share with you another fragrance that I love. It's the Jo Malone Wild Bluebell fragrance. I actually got this for my birthday last year, and have only worn it a few times, mainly as I want it to last as it was rather expensive!

At first I planned on getting the English Pear and Freesia fragrance. I had seen many beauty bloggers who owned it, and it sounded like my ideal scent. But when I visited a Jo Malone store, I wasn't overwhelmed by the scent and decided to try out some of the others.

I would definitely recommend smelling a range of their perfumes, as you might be surprised with what you like. I didn't think my favourite would be bluebell, but I love the light floral scent. These perfumes are a real treat. If I ever go on holiday again then I may pick up another one at Heathrow (they are slightly cheaper in the outbound flight lounge).

Primark haul Glastonbury festival bits

Hello,

I think this may be my 4th May Primark haul! Not a bad achievement considering I've been to Cornwall (land of no Primarks) yet I've still managed to go to Primark 4 times this month! I am still collating pieces to take to Glastonbury, and picked up a few items to take with me.

This long duster jacket is not intended for Glastonbury, but it was only £3!!! It was originally priced at £17, so I'm guessing they haven't had much success with selling them. I really don't know if I'll wear it but for £3 I thought it was worth picking up. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could wear it with?

Another pair of socks (reduced to £1) I bought these with the intention of wearing them with my Missguided burgandy shorts.

I bought a pair of Timerland style boots from Primark a while ago, and they are very compfy. So I decided to get this pair and if they are just as comfortable then they will be coming to Glastonbury with me. The only problem I had with my other ones is somehow loads of sand got in my boots when I was at the Tunes in the Dunes festival, so I hope these don't let any water in! They cost £15.

This back pack didn't catch my eye at first - I orginally saw a black one I liked. But I decided that if it is hot at Glastonbury then a black backpack is not a good idea. This one actually grew on me and I think it will look pretty cool with most outfits. It cost £8.

I picked up 2 more of these 'cropped' t-shirts. I am a size 10 but for some reason I have to get these in a size 16! That means that they aren't exactly cropped on me, but they also aren't very loose! They are the perfect length to wear with shorts or skirts in the summer. Primark always do a nice top each year that I always end up buying at least 5 of in different colours - this year it seems to be this one!

Sports Direct / Adidas gym haul

Hello,

For about a year and a half I have been trying to go to the gym 3 times a week. Some weeks I only make it 2 times, and about once every few months I manage to go 4 times a week! I also do a zumba class at school each week. So I consider myself to do a lot of exercise! I always wear the same old clothes, so today I decided to treat myself to some new bits. at first I wanted to get some Nike trainers, but I saw these Adidas ones and really liked the contrast of the purple and lime green, so I picked these up. They were £39.99 from Sports Direct.

To go with my new trainers I got an Adidas vest top. I normally wear t-shirts to the gym but I thought I'd give this a go an was surprised by how flattering it was. I was worried it was a bit too transparent but when I put it on it was fine. It was only £12.99 as well.

Finally I bought some gym leggings by Adidas. I normally wear 3/4 length trousers but these looked flattering on, especially with the top above. These cost £22 from Sports Direct.

I will be wearing these items to the gym in the next week or so. I'm pleased with these items and hope I don't have to return any. I've had a lot of issues with Sports Direct in the past as they don't do refunds! I was going to buy another pair of Adidas trousers but didn't want to risk not being able to return them.

May Primark haul number 3!!!

Hello,

Another week, another Primark haul! I somehow managed to spent another 50 something pounds on the following items...

I wasn't sure about these jeans when I first saw them but something drew me to them. They are very summery and will be an easier way of me wearing white jeans. They remind me a bit of blue and white dinner plates! They were a bit tight going on and strangely a little loose around the waist. They cost £13.

These 'palazo pants' (is that the right word?!) were £12 I think, and I picked them up as they are in style at the moment and I loved the pattern. I thought I could wear them to work, but they are a little see through so I'm not sure if that will happen or not.

This lovely floaty dress was only £8 and I knew instantly that they style would fit my body shape. The print is lovely too. I will be wearing this lots in the summer!

I'm honestly not sure how much this green maxi dress cost but I know it was between £10-15. I bought this to go with the maxi printed kimono/cardigan I bought a few weeks ago. I got it in a size 8 as the 10 was quite large around my chest area! I love the colour and hope I will get some wear out of this during the summer.

Another Primark visit, another pack of rings! Most of the time I seem to get gold rings, so this silver pack went into my basket straight away. My love for Primark rings continues!

I'm going to Cornwall on Saturday so I won't be going to Primark for a week or 2, so hopefully there won't be a 4th Primark haul this month! My bank balance wouldn't be too happy about that!!
