Night out in River Island pastels

Hello!

Last night I went on a night out for the first time in about a month. Me and my friend Becky went out, and although we normally just get drunk in Spoons, this time we decided to try a bar/club. I hadn't really eaten and drank a whole bottle of wine, so we ended the night by midnight with a Chinese! It was a nice night though, and this is what I wore.

The top and skirt were bought with the Grazia 25% off voucher a few weeks ago. I think they look cute paired together, and although this isn't my usual 'edgy' night out style, I really do love the pastel colours together.  The shoes were from River Island last year, and are a genuinely comfy pair of heels. They are still selling these in other colours, but not in gold anymore (as far as I know).

River Island haul

Hello,

Last weekend I went shopping in Bromley and bought a few things in River Island. I had a £25 gift card from Christmas and unbelievably I haven't bought anything in there since before then! So on Sunday I found these lovely bits and that gift card soon disappeared (plus a lot extra from my bank account!)

How gorgeous is this pastel skirt? I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! The colours, print and style are all perfect for me. I will either wear this on a night out or make it more casual and wear it at the weekend. It cost £32.

I probably wouldn't have picked this top up but thought it would go perfectly with the skirt. I didn't actually look at the price and was a little shocked when I went to pay and it cost £26. It's a bit more than I would usually pay for a top, but it goes so well with the skirt that I had to get it!

So cute paired together! (Just need to keep working on loosing a bit of my podgy belly!)

I saw this skirt on Instagram this morning and this was one of the main reasons I went into River Island. This skirt is sooooooo me! Leather look + fringing + mini = perfect! The faux leather looks better in real life than in the pictures. I'm going to wear this on a night out or maybe even to Glastonbury. This was £35.

Even though I spent much more money on these 3 things that I normally would spent in a weekend, I love the skirts so much and can't wait to wear them!

Hello 2015! AC/DC style

Well - I could list all of the reasons why I haven't posted on here for about 2 months, but it would all equate to boring life stuff. So I send virtual internet apologies and promise to try more this year. All I will say is that I'm finding myself capturing my life on paper rather than on the interent.

Anyway - this was the outfit I wore shopping yesterday. This must be the 5th AC/DC top I own, but who cares - they are my favourite band! The jeans are from Primark and only cost £13. I even find them more comfortable than Topshop jeans which are triple the price! The bag is one of my favourites that I got from River Island last year.

Friday night at spoons

Hello!

After the week I had at work last week, a group of us decided to hit the pub for some much needed alcohol! We were just going to spoons, so I didn't want to dress like I was going clubbing, so I settled on this outfit. Rocking my AC/DC top and leather mini skirt with a check shirt to keep it casual. I had a lovely night, felt comfortable and got quite drunk! Wetherspoons sell Porn Star Martinis now - yes!!!

What I've been wearing - New Look cape

Lots of photographs today! These pictures were taken this morning so this is my being organised and posting quickly! Today's outfit is another Primark heavy one! The bag, shoes and burgandy top are all from Primark. All of which were bought in the last month so should still be in store. The cape and fur scarf are from New Look, and were actually bought in Bristol on Wednesday, when I stupidly didn't bring a coat even though it was raining, so I ended up buying this to keep me warm. It's lovely and cosy, although I would have liked it to be slightly shorter as it does swamp me a bit! I am in love with the fur scarf - it's so soft! The jeans are Molly Jeggings from River Island. I live in these at weekends! If they weren't so expensive I would buy a pair in every colour!
